There were rumors at the end of last month that Google is replacing its Nexus line of devices with high-end Android Silver phones. The Android Silver programme will feature high-end devices from various OEMs running stock Android and provide a new Google experience. Silver devices would be built to Google's specification, with speedy updates and a limit on bloatware. The company is also expected to spend heavily on advertising and marketing of these devices and make them more consumer centric.
