Motorola (kind of) beats Google to the first Android 5.0 phone with the Moto X

* We all know that Motorola is very fast at bringing Android updates to its devices. Last year, it was able to push the Android 4.4 KitKat update to its Moto X before Google got the update out to the Nexus 4. This year, Motorola has (kind of) beaten Google completely to be the first manufacturer with Android 5.0 Lollipop on a smartphone with the new Moto X.


Obviously, that "kind of" is the main issue to tackle here. The thing is that Motorola began the soak test for Android 5.0 on the 2014 Moto X earlier today. That doesn't count, but it seems as though some users who weren't signed ...
