Ever since the first DotA got launched as a Warcraft III map, multiplayer online battle arena games (also known as MOBAs) have experienced an ever-growing popularity – just behold how many monthly active users both Dota 2 and League of Legends currently have. This variation of the tower defense genre splits players into two teams of heroes that battle between themselves and try to destroy the main building in the opposing team's base. Although they are fairly popular on PC, there are only a few mobile MOBA games, mostly due to their tricky mechanics.
