Pantech’s second generation Vega Note may be first to use Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 810

Media in Korea is reporting that Pantech is working on a successor to the Vega Note phablet, and that it will be among the first devices to pack Qualcomm’s recently announced 64-bit CPU, the Snapdragon 810.



As we reported last month, the Snapdragon 810 is a beast, utilizing the big.LITTLE design and incorporating an Adreno 430 GPU. This chipset will handle 4K video at 30 frame-per-second, and LTE-Advanced up to 300Mbps.



Qualcomm announced that this silicon will be available to manufacturers later this year, with the expectation that we will see devices equipped with the new processors ...
