
Apple has exported its trade-in plan to Italy. Started last year in the U.S. prior to the launch of the Apple iPhone 5s and Apple iPhone 5c, the program allows consumers to trade-in an older iPhone model to Apple in return for an Apple Store gift card worth as much as €220 ($300 USD). The card can be used toward the purchase of a new iPhone.
After debuting in the states, the trade-in program migrated to the U.K., Canada and France, before being available in Italy. Apple also has a mail-in program that allows iPhone owners to mail-in their current model in exchange for Apple Store credit. ...
