Archos has launched a pair of Android powered smartphones, including one model that is powered by the world's first true octa-core chip, the MT-6592 produced by MediaTek. Starting with the the latter phone first, the Archos 50c Oxygen offers users a 5 inch screen with resolution of 720 x 1280. That works out to a pixel density of 294ppi. This model will be equipped with an octa-core 1.7GHz MediaTek MT-6592 processor. Just 1GB of RAM is inside with 8GB of native storage.
