In one second, 10,000 units of the Xiaomi Redmi Note were sold

You might recall the Xiaomi Redmi Note as being the 5.5 inch phablet that is powered by the MT6592 true octa-core chip from MediaTek. We are talking about a 720 x 1280 resolution screen, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. A 13MP rear snapper is included and it is all powered by a 3200mAh battery. The device scored a pretty decent 28,000 on the AnTuTu Benchmark site, not bad for a sub-$200 phone.



Back in March, taking just 34 minutes, Xiaomi sold 100,000 units of the Note in China. Now, in Taiwan, 10,000 units of the phone were sold in one second. Some buyers were upset that their browsers ...
