Microsoft halted production of the Surface Mini just as it was about to start

According to sources from inside Chinese contract manufacturers, Microsoft halted the Surface Mini tablet just as it was ready to enter mass production. It is said that all work on the device was completed, including product testing and paying full production costs. Alas, production scheduled for May never started.



Before it got its plug pulled, the Surface Mini allegedly had a 7.5 inch to 8-inch display, an ARM processor, and ran Windows RT 8.1.
