Microsoft Windows Phone handset with Kinect-like gesture support reportedly in the works

Amazon is expected to launch its 3D gesture based smartphone on June 18th. Now, several reports are suggesting that Microsoft is eyeing to introduce Kinect like motion tracking technology in next Windows Phones. According to The Verge, Microsoft's future flagship handset which is codenamed as McLaren will feature gesture controls. It is also said that this will be Nokia's first smartphone to introduce the 3D Touch gestures. The report further states that the technology will let users navigate on the phone without touching the display and take calls by simply holding the phone to the ear. Moreover, it will enable you to play games and use applications by hovering your finger over the display. The device will support numerous other smart actions know you face orientation for smart portrait/landscape orientation switching and activating the speakerphone when you place your phone on a table during a call. Expected to be released on a range of US carriers later this year, the device which was touted by evleaks as Nokia McLaren will be a high-end successor to Lumia 1020 with even more advanced camera.
