An unknown NVIDIA Shield console codenamed P2570 has been spotted at the FCC. This could be the successor of the NVIDIA Shield that surfaced recently on AnTuTu. According to the image on the FCC, it is wider on the sides, probably for a better grip and the bushes are also bigger on the bottom. Otherwise the image doesn't reveal anything in terms of the hardware. According to earlier rumors, the NVIDIA Shield 2 is expected to be powered by a 64-bit quad-core Tegra K1 chip clocked at 2.5 GHz with 192-core NVIDIA Kepler GPU and come with 4GB of RAM. It would be based on Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is obvious since the first Shield already got the KitKat update. It is expected to come with a high-resolution display, 720p or higher, 16GB of internal storage and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. If this is really the Shield 2, we could see the portable gaming console very soon. The first Shield too almost six month to release after the announcement at the CES 2013. Hope NVIDIA would reduce this time frame for this next Shield. Via
