Two days ago, we reported that a last-minute software hotfix delayed the launch of the highly-anticipated OnePlus One yet again. The reason behind the implementation of this patch were some serious OpenSSL encryption issues. Cyanogen, the developer of the OnePlus One's firmware, decided that a fix for the bug needs to be implemented before the OnePlus starts shipping for those lucky users that have an invitation. However, the new firmware build had to be QA-tested re-certified, so this delay was inevitable.
