LG today finally announced a mini version of its G3 flagship smartphone. The device has two names: LG G3 Beat (for Asia), and LG G3 s (this will be used in Europe). According to LG, the new handset is here “to address the growing low- to mid-tier segment of smartphone customers who want a great device that’s more compact but still powerful enough to run the most popular apps.” This being said, we have to mention that the G3 Beat is exactly what we were expecting it to be: a slightly smaller G3 with less-advanced features.
