Looks like there has been quite a pent-up demand for a phablet-sized iPhone. The 5.5 inch Apple iPhone 6 Plus is now sold out and is on back order for 3 to 4 weeks, according to Apple's web site. On the other hand, there seems to be plenty of the 4.7 inch Apple iPhone 6 to go around. Those pre-ordering that model now, will have their handset shipped on the original September 19th launch date. Both models are also expected to be available in stores starting next Friday.
