Acorns rounds your individual transactions to the nearest dollar, investing the spare change in a diversified portfolio you can track from within the app. Downloading Acorns is free, but the app charges $1 a month plus 0.25-0.5% of your Acorn assets annually. Still, that's a hell of a lot cheaper than a stock broker, and it doesn't involve much more than the spending you already do. [Free]
