French-based gadget maker Archos today announced a new, relatively high-end smartphone called Archos 50 Diamond. This is the company’s first handset to be powered by a 64-bit, octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor (one of the new processors that Qualcomm introduced earlier this year), and Archos seems to be quite proud of it.The 50 Diamond sports a 5-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, further featuring: LTE connectivity, dual SIM support, an 8 MP front-facing camera, 16 MP rear camera with LED flash, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of expandable internal memory.
