A report published on Monday, says that the Apple iPad Air 2 will be the thinnest tablet in the marketplace. That is because Apple is removing the mute/rotation lock switch that has appeared on every iPad since the OG model. That will take .5mm off the slate, making it svelte and bathing suit ready. The Apple iPad Air 2 will also feature more recessed volume buttons, and the microphones have been moved to the back near the camera.
