Samsung donates 3,000 Galaxy smartphones (worth $1 million) to help the fight against Ebola

Samsung today announced that it’s helping the United Nations to fight against Ebola by donating 3,000 Android smartphones (worth around $1 million). Donated via the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Human Affairs, the handsets will reach 60 medical facilities in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone - three African countries that currently face the worst Ebola epidemic in history.
