The latest market share figures have been released by comScore, and it shows that Windows Phone and iOS had slight increases in U.S. market share for the three months ended in August. Android, however, remained on top with 52% of the stateside smartphone market. That is down a minimal .1 percentage point from the three months ended in May. Apple's iOS picked up the .1 percentage point that Android lost, bringing its U.S. market share to 42%.
With 3.5% of the U.S. smartphone market for the three months ended in August, Microsoft's Windows Phone also added.1 percentage point from its May reading. ...
