Sky launches NOW TV for Windows 8.1

* Sky may not have apps for the Windows Phone platform but it's determined to target the large PC audience using Microsoft's new platform. The British broadcaster has today launched its NOW TV app for Windows 8.1 with content available including movies, TV shows and live sports. Rather than sign up for a long contract (that's what Sky TV is for), NOW TV allows you freedom to cancel and change your plan when you like with no minimum commitment. NOW TV requires a subscription that starts at £6.99 per month and Sky have further add ons allowing you access to their on-demand content. As part of your £6.99 NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass bundle, you can gain instant-access to must-see TV shows. For £9.99 per month, you can get access to over 1,000 movies with the Sky Movies Month Pass whilst £6.99/£10.99 will get you access to all seven Sky Sports channels for one day or one week respectively.
