The upcoming thinnest smartphone in the world will probably have a mini version, but there's a catch

* At the moment, the 4.85mm Oppo R5 is still the thinnest smartphone on the market. However, it will not hold much longer, as a new contender has taken aim at its crown - the crazy-thin Vivo X5 Max, which might measure anywhere between 3.6 and 4.0 mm (though it was initially said that it will be 4.75mm thick).



The phone will make its official debut tomorrow, on December 10, which will make it the slimmest smartphone in the world. It will also try to woo you with its 5.5-inch 1080p display, octa-core MediaTek silicon running at 1.7Ghz, 2GB of RAM, and a 13MP camera at the back, all crammed ... *
