How to take a screenshot on the Nexus 6

Need to grab what's on your Nexus 6 screen? It's easy!

Here's the quick and easy method to take a screenshot on your new Nexus 6. Nothing has changed in Lollipop here, so you'll be doing the same thing as you might remember from your previous Android phone:

Press the volume down and power buttons simultaneously.

This will grab whatever is on the screen and save it to the "Screenshots" folder in your Pictures directory. From there you can view, share or delete it at will. Also, once the screenshot is saved you will have a notification with quick access to share your picture, while tapping the notification itself will allow you to view it in your favorite gallery app.
