Makerbot's new composite materials will help create things you'll want to keep

Enough with the primary colored plastic trinkets. When can we start printing things we want, things we'll use? While we're still no quite there, Makerbot's recently-announced composite materials might get us closer. We talked to Makerbot's Director of Product Anthony Moschella about a year in 3D printing. He told about the "chain of pain" that once was getting an ideal or a design from brain to reality, how Makerbots trying to smooth that process, and we sniffed a pseudo maplewood hammer.
