Samsung launches the Galaxy J1 for $115, customers complain about the high price

* Last month, Samsung quietly unveiled the Galaxy J1, a new entry-level Android smartphone. Starting this week, the handset is available to buy in India, which seems to be the first market to get it.



The J1 can be bought via Amazon India for $115 (7,190 INR), in white or black, with a blue version expected to be released soon. Running Android 4.4 KitKat, the new Galaxy is obviously not a powerhouse, relying on a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor (unknown maker) and 512 MB of RAM for all the computing tasks you'll assign it. The smartphone further features a 4.3-inch PLS display with 480 x 800 pixels, ... *
