* Out of Korea comes word that Samsung is planning on adding a modem to its Exynos chips. This will allow Samsung's Exynos chipsets to challenge Qualcomm's Snapdragon SoC for that all important space under the hood of high-end Galaxy devices. Word is that Sammy will start rolling the chips out for the premium market during the fourth quarter of this year. And that means that depending on the timing, we could see the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 powered by the manufacturer's home grown chip worldwide. More certain is that the Samsung Galaxy S7, not due until March 2016, will feature the new Exynos chipset ... *
