HTC official: One M9 software is not final (thus current benchmarks aren't relevant)

* Following a benchmark test performed earlier today by a Dutch website, the HTC One M9 hit a surface temperature of 132 degrees Fahrenheit (55.4 degrees Celsius). It's believed that the culprit here is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor that's powering the device. However, the real reason for the handset's high temperature might actually be the fact that its software is not final.



Jeff Gordon, Senior Global Online Communications Manager at HTC, today took to Twitter to say that "HTC One M9 software isn't final yet, no matter how many pre-release benchmarks you run", obviously suggesting ... *
