Google is expected to introduce a new stand-alone photo app as soon as Google I/O, which starts on May 28th and ends the next day. A leak of the app was obtained by Android Police and reveals familiar features and new capabilities. The important thing is that Google is separating Photos from Google+.Pictures can be backed up automatically and retrieved by day or month.
