Owners of the Huawei Ascend P7 probably already know that their handset will be updated to Android Lollipop, since Huawei not long ago confirmed this. However, the company didn't say exactly when the update would be released. Fortunately, it looks like the update is almost ready to reach end users, as Huawei started beta testing Lollipop on the P7 in Spain and Italy.Currently running Android 4.4 KitKat, the Ascend P7 will be updated directly to Android 5.1 Lollipop, skipping the 5.0 version. The update will also bring the new EMUI 3.1 to the P7.
