First Android-based BlackBerry (codenamed Prague) could be released in August

In case you haven't heard, BlackBerry is apparently getting ready to release smartphones that don't run its own operating system, using Android instead. One of these handsets, allegedly codenamed BlackBerry Venice, could be launched in November, bringing high-end features like a 5.4-inch curved Quad HD display, and an octa-core Snapdragon 808 processor. However, this might not be BlackBerry's first Android product.

According to N4BB, the Venice might not run Android at all, and yet BlackBerry could introduce an Android smartphone as soon as August.
