With all of the overheating issues that are affecting Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 SoC, it is no surprise that eyes would fall upon Qualcomm's next top-of-the-line chip. That would be the Snapdragon 820. Just the other day, we passed along rumored specs for the chipset, which include custom designed 64-bit cores named Kyro that will be clocked as high as 3GHz.The Snapdragon 820 is expected to be produced using Samsung's 14nm node manufacturing technology. That is the same process used to manufacture the Samsung Exynos 7420, which powers the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge.
