Over the past few years, many experts and regular users have raised the issue that smartphones manufacturers are bringing increasingly less innovation to the market.
However, while it may be true that certain aspects of high-end smartphones did little to significantly evolve over the past couple of years (real-world performance and battery life are two of the obvious examples that come to mind) camera technology seems to be the area where smartphone makers did their best work.
