The normal size of a flagship smartphone nowadays is not to everyone's taste, and manufacturers seem to get that. It has been a tradition for some time now for companies to release a "mini" version of their top-class device for the year. Unfortunately, in most cases, the small variants of the phones often suffer a significant hardware downgrade as well - the only exception being the Compact versions of the Sony Xperia Z line.
