Last month, we told you that Lenovo subsidiary ZUK would soon be unveiling the Z1. Earlier today, ZUK took to its Weibo page to announce that it will be holding a press conference on August 8th to unveil the device. This will be one of the first smartphones to employ the USB Type-C 3.0 port which speeds up data transfers and battery charging. Speaking about batteries, the ZUK Z1 will be equipped with a 4000+mAh cell which means wall hugging won't be required.
