Apple today revealed a rather positive milestone. Apple Music has more than 11 million people on the trial, which is quite the adoption after considering the service has been available for just over a month. Apple Music is free for the first three months, subsequently requiring monthly payments of $9.99 to further enjoy the platform. Apple internet services SVP, Eddy Cue spoke to USA Today:
"We're thrilled with the numbers so far. We're aware that some users have experienced some issues, and we hate letting them down, but we're releasing updates as fast as we can to address those issues."
As well as the 11 million trial users, the company also confirmed that 2 million accounts have signed up to the $14.99 family plan. It hasn't been a smooth launch of the tech giant either. It'll be interesting to see how Apple continues to expand Apple Music and how a wider audience reacts to further updates rolled out by the company.
