As the Samsung faithful may know, the South Korean manufacturer is making use of two different sensors for the main camera with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge: the Sony IMX240 and a home-made ISOCELL unit. This, more than anything, prompted us to check our own Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ review samples to see which one they got, and also make us wonder whether the same split will be true with the new phablets. A quick web search suggests that yes, there's once again going to be a difference from device to device.
