What's new on the App Store: Giphy, Lumino City, and games starring zombies

Each week, the App Store highlights some of the best new and updated apps. This week, we have a big update to Giphy, new adventures with Lumino City, and games featuring the undead.

This week, we start our app selections a major update to Giphy, which has made it easier than ever to find and share GIFs. There's also been a major update to Byword for iOS 9. if you want to get started with investing, you might want to check out Stash Invest. Finally, you can check out Tossup from Microsoft's Garage division, which helps you make plans with friends.

In new games this week, we start off with Lumino City, a game that takes you on adventures in a handmade world. You can also play Octodad: Dadliest Catch, in which you play an octopus posing as a human. If you're looking for more of a mystery, check out Agent A: A puzzle in disguise. Those looking for some sci-fi flight action will want to take a peek at Battle Supremacy: Evolution.

With the week of Halloween finally upon us, the App Store is offering a selection of games featuring the undead. You can fight them off your front lawn in Plants vs Zombies 2, or simply fight for your life in The Walking Dead: Road to Survival. For something a little different, you can try Zombie Highway 2, which combines racing and zombies, or the side-scrolling racer, Dead Ahead.
