Can the Apple iPhone SE survive an hour submerged in water?

*No iPhone has ever had an official IP certification. However, that doesn't mean that the Apple iPhone 6s, Apple iPhone 6s Plus and Apple iPhone SE melt when wet. The teardown of the new 4-inch model by iFixit shows "foamy silicone seals" that protect part of the connections on the logic board such as the connectors to the front and the rear camera, and the volume controls. The seals do not protect the LCD digitizer, battery, and Lightning connector assembly.
